It was in the year 2001, the cell phone of GS Prince rung. Suddenly I heard over the cell phone. "Dada Pronam". This was a call from the Honorable Sports Minister of West Bengal. Mr Subash Chakarbarty. He said. "I know you are a good sports event organizer you would have shall organize two football matches for Bengal Cultural Utshab 2001. We shall bear all the expenses for the accommodation, transportation of your players in Air conditioned bus".

I would like to mention the name of Mr. Debu Joyti Mukerjee who went all the way to assist us in order to arrange such a historical event.

I was wondering how could I make such four but good luck would have it, I visited Dhaka University ground to witness "Practice Match" which was participated by some present and retired football players. I narrated the offer to Mr. Naqib he showed his iliness instantly at the university ground. I met and narrated what the Minister of sports of West Bengal offered me. There I met Jewell Rana, Raquib. Masud Rana, Iqbal, Bakhtiar, Minto, Don. Alamgir, Dulal Shah, Zakir, Hanif Prodhan, Pradeep Burewa, and Shakil. All of them agreed in once voice that a football club had to be formed in the name and style of Dhaka Akadash R.C Club.

The Journey of Dhaka Akadash R.C Club began with this inspiration, I can recall vividly the player who participated in the Bengal Utshab 2001. They insisted me to arrange a decent Hotel for stay in Kolkata. Hence I called the honorable sports minister of west Bengal to arrange accommodation. He replied with a strong positive note. "Tell your players, we shall arrange five star hotel Hindustan" all our player rejoiced over the honorable ministries offer.

On December 19, 2001 we embarked on our journey to west Bengal the moment we reached Hindustan Hotel" our players took a sigh of relief and appreciated the honorable sports minister to fulfill his commitment. We were greated by the honorable sports minister of west Bengal along with our officials. We were greated with the rose petals.

The following day an Exhibition Football Match" between west Bengal Akadash and Dhaka Akadash was held in "Hawra Stadium".

As prior to the opening ceremony of Bengal Utshab 2001, Mr Shoubash Chakarborty exchanged greetings between the players of the two teams.

Dhaka Akadash R.C won the match by 2-1 goal. In an another match in haldia Stadium Dhaka Akadash draw by 1-1 goal with IFA Akadash The stricker manju of Dhaka Akadash secured the goal. We attended the dinner at famous Niko Park of west Bengal. The dinner was also attended by the secretary of IFA, Deputy high Commissioner of Bangladesh and host of famous personalities of the West Bengal. At the dinner party the general secretary of Dhaka Akadash RC presented the club Jersey and a basket of famous Hillsa fish to the honorable sports minister of west Bengal in view of appreciation for promoting football between our two communities.

On the esteemed invitation of London Tiger (A British Football club in UK). The club was constituted by the Bangaladeshi expatriates in London it may be mentioned that Dhaka Akadash RC participate in there "Exhibition Match" in the year 2007

We participated in the "Exhibition Match" due to the invitation by the London Tigers.

We name the flowing persons without their co-operation and assistance: Dhaka Akadash R.C club would not be able to play its role in promoting football matches between our two countries and even not being able to participate in the exhibition Match.

It may be mentioned that London Tiger participated in three exhibation match at the invitation of Dhaka Akadash Club in Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh in the year 2008.

Dhaka Akadash R.C club organized some special matches for Brache Sparta west end United in Bangladesh in the year 2011. They appreciated Dhaka Akadash R.C for the hospitality extended to them during their visit to Bangladesh.

Our club Dhaka Akadash R.C not only confined itself to its sports activities but also contributed and assisted in a host of social activities which include. Helping in cash and kind to the Cidor victims during year 2008 besides we played in Patuakall stadium with Patuakali football Akadash while in sylhet stadium, we played with in Sirajganj stadium with Dhaka Abahani itd.

In the year 2010, we played three "Exhibition Matches" with the London tigers and Brache Sparta West End United in London.

Our player's officials and other members who visited London for playing matches were highly impressed by the hospitality of those London based football clubs. There was no language barrier between us becouse we all spoke the same mother tongue Bengali.

Dhaka Akadash R.C Club holds in high esteem the all round assistance and contribution of its chief patron of our club. Mr Faizur Rahman the chief advisor and executive committee member of Bangladesh football federation Mr. Golam Rabbani Helal, Advisor and bond commissioner their assistant made possible of our london trip in last year 2010 a success but their contribution is still remain same and hope it will continue for time to came for the Dhaka Akadash Club.

2. Popularity both at home and abroad of
3. To provide the helping hands to the victims of natural calamity.
4. To impart football training to the rural areas by the retired and existing National Football players for Popularising football at the grass root level.
5. To make the club as entreating and social welfare oriented with the present and retired national football players.
6. To make the general people participation in uphelding the sport of football in Bangladesh
